Summary
This choker was commissioned by Prue Acton, probably from the Melbourne jeweller Marcos Davidson in 1985. They were worn by donor with 'Stained Glass' ensemble (SH 942116) at 1985 Melbourne Cup. Marcos Davidson made many pieces of jewellery for Prue Acton.
Prue Acton's Melbourne Cup clothing was specially designed for her to draw attention to Australian designers and in particular her forthcoming winter range.
Physical Description
Enamelled silver choker with geometric shaped designs of navy, green, yellow, orange and blue. The choker comprises 3 sections laced together with spiralled silver.
