Summary
Tourist B Class Passenger Ticket issued to the Allan family by the Orient Line on 28 April 1948. Mr and Mrs W. E. Allan and their son David, who was aged six, immigrated to Australia from England on the Orient Line ship RMS Ormonde, departing London on 21 May 1948. They were sponsored by an 'Uncle Fred' and first settled in Tasmania before moving to Melbourne.
Physical Description
Green passenger ticket for the Orient Line. It consists of a front cover, a back cover and two pages inside. The front cover has some black text on it and a stylised image of an anchor. The back cover also has black printed text. Inside there is extensive black printed text as well as some hand written text in blue pen. The ticket has two holes in it near the spine.
