Booklet titled 'Shipboard Information for Passengers', published by the Orient Line, 1948. It was given to Mr and Mrs W. E. Allan and their son David, who was aged six, when they immigrated to Australia from England on the Orient Line ship RMS Ormonde, departing London on 21 May 1948. They were sponsored by an 'Uncle Fred' and first settled in Tasmania before moving to Melbourne.
Physical Description
Green booklet containing information for passengers on the orient line. The cover has red text on it. Inside the text is black and the pages are white. The back cover has no text on it. In the middle of the booklet are pictures of the badges worn the crew to distinguish their rank. These are all labeled.
