Summary
Magnet with the slogan 'Take a Stand Against Racism, Pull your head in Pauline', it was made and used in Australia, circa 1999. In the late 1990s cultural diversity and Australia's immigration policies were hotly debated, as recent and potential immigrants to Australia became the focus of both attack and defence during One Nation's highly publicised push for Queensland and Federal Parliament during 1997 and 1998. Items such as these are a reminder of some of the more contentious aspects of Australia's migration history.
Physical Description
Black rectangular magnet featuring a stylised image of Pauline Hanson and some red text. The back of the magnet is plain black.
