The booklet was issued by the Agua Caliente Jockey Club to promote the 1931-1932 racing season, including the running of the Agua Caliente Handicap in March, 1932, which was Phar Lap's last race. It belonged to the family of his trainer Harry Telford family, and was amongst a number of items donated to the museum by them in the 1990s.
