Model of City Edge Housing Development, Eastern Road, South Melbourne, Victoria, designed by Daryl Jackson Evan Walker Pty Ltd, 1971-1974. A set of low-rise, high-density flats and town houses.
The model was made by Rob Wallace in 1989. It was donated to Museum Victoria for the exhibition 'Home Sweet Home : Changes in Victorian Domestic Architecture 1839 - 1989'.
Physical Description
A scheme of three and five storey buildings in soft tan brick, concrete and stained timber. A smaller, three storey building is in the front and open to provide a plan view of the building (i.e. roofless). The balconies of the building have vegetation. Inside a perspex case.
