Black and white photograph showing the ship Protea at sea in 1950. It is part of a collection which documents the migration experience of Juliana Brzozovski and her daughter Mathilde Bauer. They migrated to Australia from Germany via Munich Resettlement Centre in 1950, and arrived in Melbourne aboard the Protea on 9 December 1950. Although born in Germany Juliana was married to a Latvian, most likely Stanislaus Brzozovski who migrated with them.
