Finely woven silk handkerchief inscribed 'Souvenir of Egypt'. Belonged to Mrs Hilda Beattie of Warrnambool, whose brother John served in World War I and sent this handkerchief to her during the War.
Physical Description
Finely woven silk handkerchief with an embroidered flower in pink, bone and grey. A stamped image of a pyramid, giraffe, camel, the sphinx and palm trees.Handkerchief has been embroidered with green chain stitch, 'To Hilda from Jack'.
