Summary
Photograph of Rocardo Angelo Gazzola, taken December 1920. It was sent to his sweetheart Maria Vendramini while he was completing his national service. He also sent her a box with writing paper, envelopes and stamps so she could write to him. Maria Sartori (nee Vendramini) joined her father Innocente in Melbourne with her mother, 3 sisters and a brother in 1936. They settled in Carlton. Maria was the eldest of Innocente Vendramini's children.
