Box of Rinoldi brand spaghetti, made by Thos. Reynolds Pty Ltd in Melbourne, circa 1940-1950. It came from a home in Albert Park, Victoria.
The box is printed with recipes including 'Curried Spaghetti with Tomato Cases', 'Devilled Oysters and Spaghetti' and 'Spaghetti Pie with Vegetable Crust'. The donor's son can only remember eating spaghetti as a sweet spaghetti pie - probably in 1950s-60s.
Rinoldi spaghetti was advertised in Australian newspapers from at least 1924.

One pound net box of Rinoldi No.2 Tubular spaghetti. Relevant information on the cardboard box includes the manufacturer's name, directions for cooking spaghetti and recipes for spaghetti sauces and serving suggestions. Spaghetti still in the box.
