Cambric dress made circa 1947-1960. The green patterned fabric was manufactured in England.
Physical Description
Dress made of cambric: green with black, white and orange designs. Bodice is fitted with angled darts, has a large low-necked roll collar with a self-tie in front, short kimono sleeves with diagonally-shaped underarm gussets. The dress also has a stiffened belt with buckle and five eyelets of same fabric as dress. Skirt is four-gored, flared and very full. Dress is fitted at waist and has metal zip on left side. Label on dress has brandname. Some alterations have been made to dress: collar tacked together at the front, concealing ties and hem has been taken up 4-5cm and tacked with black thread.
