Panel flanked by false jacket joined to bodice, which has cap sleeves and is of machine lace- cream on rose-coloured net ground. Front 'neckline' of lace is edged with sequins. Cap sleeves sewn over long sleeve of rose silk with ruched chiffon trim around armhole & chiffon piping on shoulder. Neckline is round with a V-shaped slit in front, partially edged with chiffon piping. Skirt & back of bodice are of machine lace over silk and pleated panel of chiffon (centre front) shows beneath scalloped edge of lace at hem.
