Summary
Pair of manually-operated Princess hair clippers, the 'Queen of toilet clippers', size 0000, made by Brown's Clipper Co. Ltd of Birmingham, England. They are suitable for 'surgical and all purposes where extremely close cutting is required'.
The clippers were donated to Museum Victoria in 1992 with a large collection of objects relating to boot making or repairs, railway foundry work and home life, including children's books and coathangers.
Physical Description
Mustard yellow, dark blue and black cardboard box. Illustration of hair clippers on front and rear as well as text. Left hand end of box missing. Inside box are chrome hair clippers with two handles attached. Two sets of comb like teeth, top set adjustable and screwed on.
