It is an unissued example of a medal awarded by the Sterne Doll Company to children performing with their Gerry Gee dolls on The Tarax Show, broadcast in Melbourne on GTV Channel 9.
Physical Description
Gold coloured medal presented in plastic case lined with satin and velvet. The medal is metal with raised representations of gum leaves and a wreath of other vegetable matter. A template for the recipients name has not bee filled in. The medal is unused. The medal case is a square flat plastic box, cream coloured with a hinged lid. Raised inscription on lid shows a ceremonial vessel within a circle. The case has a puce velvet seating for the medal with a blue ribbon placed across the seating to lift medal. Lid lined with white satin with gold printing.
