Summary
Belonged to Emlyn Robert Jones, the father of the donor, who was a gold miner in the Walhalla-Aberfeldy district. He discovered gold, circa 1908, in the area near Aberfeldy.
This style of flannel is often seen in work shirts, known colloquially as shearer's shirts.
Physical Description
Short sleeved light brown flannel shirt, with front opening with front opening to mid-chest, with three buttonholes and plastic buttons. There are plackets under each sleeve, The shirt is is made of 50% wool and 50% cotton.
