Summary
Brown rayon singlet. A label from the donor indicates that it was 'made from the tops of old stockings'. It probably dates from the Great Depression or the World War II era. The singlet was collected by Mrs Florence Millard nee Treloar.
Physical Description
Child's singlet made of tops of old flesh-coloured stockings. Stocking remnants are made of rayon of slightly differing shades. The garment has a hand-crocheted picot edging in mauve cotton.
