Summary

This cream silk handkerchief with painted decoration was a souvenir manufactured for the celebration of the centenary of European settlement of Victoria in 1934. It features the Victorian coat of arms and is still in its original cellophane wrapping.

Painted, cream silk handkerchief with scalloped edge outlined with gold paint. One corner contains words and a representation of the Victorian coat-of-arms. Painted in yellow, green, blue, red, brown, pink and gold.
