Physical Description

Square, pale blue silk handkerchief with cream lace border and hand embroidered design. The embroidered design is on a separate piece of rectangular fabric sewn onto the handkerchief. It depicts the Australian military emblem, i.e. a crown surrounded by radiating lines in yellow and red. Underneath the crown are 3 scrolls with embroidered transcriptions. The four corners of the design contain embroidered flowers in various shades of blue and white. The lace border is hand sewn in cream cotton.
