Knitted wool red and white beanie. Made by donor's wife (then fiancee) about1954. Worn while skiing at Mt Hotham and Mt Buller about 1954-1957.
Physical Description
Knitted wool beanie (circumference at base 51cm) with a 6cm diameter wool pom-pom attached to the crown. The beanie is predominantly red with a 4cm wide white band. The pom-pom is white with a splash of red. Red cotton is visible where holes or tears have been mended.
