Summary
Alternative Name(s): Hostess Apron
Made by Mrs Violet May Wilson of Beaconsfield in 1945 and exhibited by her in Agricultural Shows in country towns and cities throughout Australia.
Competing in the handcrafts sections of such shows was Mrs Wilson's hobby. Her daughter remembers her packing her work for despatch to a show, and the delight when it was returned with a prize-winning certificate.
