Summary

Off-white coloured cloth flag painted crimson, inscribed 'WELCOME ANZACS 1914-18'. It bears the brown-over-red colour scheme of the 7th Battalion (known colloquially as 'mud and blood').

It is presumed that this flag was produced to be used in the welcome home marches at the end of World War I in Australia.
