Physical Description
Clear glass apothecary's jar (stained brown inside by contents) with round, slightly concave base, straight sides, hemispherical shoulder, short, broad neck with thick, protruding neck and glass stopper with flat, round, horizontal top. Curved, oblong perspex nameplate, painted from back is glued into inset on side of jar. Contains remnants of powdered barbados aloe, which is a purgative. Approximate volume of container; 1L, approximately 1/4 full of powdered pharmaceutical.
