Blue apothecary bottle which had contained Kruse's magnesia used at a pharmacy in a mental health hospital, Victoria, Australia, circa 1880. The bottle was made by Felton Grimwade & Co. and its contents used as a health supplement.
Physical Description
Apothecary's jar of a very light blue glass with oval base and rounded body. Short neck and rim top. Bottle is empty. Would have held milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide).
