Physical Description
Spring scale is enclosed in small, flat, white enamelled tin case, open at bottom and with top where goods are to be weighed are placed suspended on springs. A flat bar across front of scale is suspended on balance arm which goes into box and across centre inside on each side. It has scale up to 12lbs., with ounces along top and pounds along bottom. Operated by 3 sliding weights along top for ounces and bottom for pounds.
