Summary
Apothecary jar that conatined a draught made at the pharmacy of the Receiving House at Royal Park Mental Hospital, circa 1907 - 1950. The domestic white mixture draught was apparently made-up in the pharmacy, as a treatment for constipation.
Physical Description
Very light green glass apothecary's jar with round base, straight sides, hemispherical shoulder and shortish, slim neck, slightly thicker on top, closed with a cork. Has Royal Park Receiving House label on side - Horst. Domest. Alb.(domestic white mixture draught). Jar is empty.
