Pair of brown leather British Army boots issued to Australian geologist Ian Macleod by ANARE and used by him in Antarctica. Believed to have been used by Macleod on his 1969 expedition in the Prince Charles Mountains.
This is part of Museum Victoria's collection of artefacts from the post-war era of scientific exploration of Antarctica.
