Green gabtwist ski cap used by the donor in an Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) expedition to the Antarctic in 1958.

Part of a collection of Antarctic clothing and objects issued to Mr I.R.Mcleod, one of the ANARE'S most experienced geologists, for expeditions to the Antractic during the late 1950s and in the 1960s.

Physical Description

Ski cap, made of green gabtwist material with black cotton lining. Peak at front; elongated into flat at back for weather protection. Chin straps extend from back flap.
