Luncheon menu issued to passengers travelling on the Lloyd Triestino Line ship MV Australia on 4 March 1955. It was collected by Donald Dott during his travels between Australia and Europe in 1954-1956.
Many ships such as the MV Australia carried both tourists and immigrants, and documents such as dinner menus, luggage labels, and King Neptune certificates were provided to all passengers.
Physical Description
Thin cardboard menu consisting of four pages. The front cover is decorated with a print of a watercolour picture of an Italian church by a lake, with flowers in the foreground. The back cover is decorated with a red flag. Inside is the lunch menu for the ship `Mv Australia' for 4th March, 1955, printed in Italian and English.
