Hand-made traditional Japanese Samurai hat, folded from paper. Made and donated by Mrs Masumi Jackson, 1988.
Forms part of the Australian Children's Folklore Collection (ACFC). The ACFC is unique in Australia, documenting contemporary children's folklore across Australia and in other countries reaching back to the 1870s. The Collection has a strong component of research material relating to Victoria.
Physical Description
Hand-made traditional Japanese Samurai hat, folded from paper. The paper is foil, silver on one side and white on the other. The hat is triangular in shape, and has been folded to be silver on the outside, with a white band at the front and silver wings.
