Physical Description
At the top of the certificate is the coats of arms of the Commonwealth of Australia. Edging the border, midway down the certificate is a soldier (on the right) and a seaman (on the left), both in battle dress with bayonnetted rifles 'presented'. At the bottom of the certificate are paintings of a submarine and an artillery piece in action. A wreath separates the two paintings.
