Summary
A copy of the official record from the 1925-6 New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition held in Dunedin. The book gives history of major exhibitions held in New Zealand and the history of the organisation of the 1925-6 exhibition. A large international exhibition required immense amounts of organisation, as this book attested to. Several member of the Executive Commission overseeing the exhibition were from Melbourne.
Physical Description
Book, hardcover, bound in blue cloth. Title on spine. On front cover a circular emblem in gold. 168 pp. The text covers all particulars of the exhibition organisers, a map, descriptions of buildings and contents, finances etc. Illustrated with many black and white photographic images.
