This is a black & white postcard showing an elevated view of the south west facade of the Exhibition Building across the Carlton Gardens, circa 1930. The postcard, which is unused, was printed as part of the Rose Series P 3351, by the Rose Stereograph Company, Armadale, Victoria.
Physical Description
A black & white photograph from the Rose Series of postcards, showing an elevated view of the Exhibition Building from the Rathdowne Street side. The image has a white border with image details printed at the bottom. In the foreground of the photograph there are mature trees, part of the fence bordering Rathdowne Street and a shed or cottage. On the reverse of the card there is an image of a rose as well as space to write a message, an address and to place a stamp.
