This is a black & white postcard of Melbourne showing the southern facade of the Exhibition Building and the Melbourne General Post Office, circa 1910. The postcard, which was made by Ward, Lock & Co, was sent by Ethel Lane from Canterbury to Miss D Lane in London as a Christmas greeting. The card is dated 22 November 1910 and was printed in England.
Physical Description
A postcard featuring two round, black & white photographs on the front. One photograph is of the General Post Office and the other is of the southern facade of the Exhibition Building. Above the two images the title 'Greetings from Melbourne' is written in red. On the reverse of the card there is a handwritten inscription and address. There is no stamp or postmark.
