Summary

Black & white postcard showing an elevated view of the south west facade of the Exhibition Building across the Carlton Gardens, circa 1930. The postcard was printed as part of the Rose Series P 3351, by the Rose Stereograph Company, Armadale, Victoria. The card was posted to Alan Evans, 85 Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, Denbighshire, England and is dated 28 April 1930.

Physical Description

A brown toned photograph from the Rose Series of postcards, showing an elevated view of the Exhibition Building from the Rathdowne Street side. The image has a white border with image details printed at the bottom. In the foreground of the photograph there are mature trees, part of the fence bordering Rathdowne Street and a shed or cottage. On the reverse of the card there is an image of a rose as well as space to write a message, an address and to place a stamp. The card has a handwritten inscription dated 28 April 1930.
