Summary
Architectural model of Public Housing Development, Bay Street, Port Melbourne. Designed in 1986 by architects Bates Smart and McCutcheon Pty Ltd for the Victorian Ministry for Housing.
The model was made by Crysell and Associates in 1989, and donated to Museum Victoria for its exhibition 'Home Sweet Home: Changes in Victorian domestic architecture 1839 - 1989'.
Physical Description
Model depicts a large townhouse development. The porthole windows, ship's railing, grey stucco, and white bricks reflect the seaside location. Model shows part of the development only.
