Summary
Epaulettes Buttons, circa 1920. Used on male attendants uniforms at Ararat Mental Hospital, Victoria, Australia. These crown epaulettes were donated by Sowter, A.S., (Mr) Assistant Head Nurse at Ararat.
Physical Description
A pair of brass epaulettes in the shape of a crown. The detail on the crown is embossed on the front, the back is hollowed out. At the back are two small metal rings attached to the upper, outer edges of the crown, to enable it to be sewn on to a uniform.
