There is an oblong shape in relief around the key-hole, which is low on the front of the lock. Above it the name of the manufacturer is engraved around a royal coat-of-arms. The key number runs across the face, on each side of the keyhole. There are 6 pins around the edge, perfectly flush with the surface. The key has a piece broken out at the bit end. Above it a rough cross has been cut into the metal.
