Pencil Stub Holder which belonged to Herbert Kann. Herbert was living and working in Singapore with his parents when he was detained as an enemy alien and transported to Australia for internment at Tatura. He was released from Tatura in 1942 at the age of 33. He married fellow Austrian Jew Marion Edith and worked as a fitter, draughtsman and electrical engineer in Melbourne.
