Summary

Small wooden cupboard, made from serap tongue and groove floor boards. Believed to have been made by the donor's grandparents when they arrived in Sydney in early 1870s, and used as a toy cupboard by generations of children. Mrs Archbold used it for general storage at her homes in Mitcham and Ringwood.

Physical Description

Small wooden cupboard, made from serap tongue and groove boards (floor boards). Door on front closes with toggle, inside floor and two shelves. Outside painted turquoise-blue, inside dark red. Back (outside) not painted at all. Top overlaps sides on front and back sides (flush at back).
