Shaving kit comprising silver razor, miniature strop and spare blade in metal tin.
The shaving kit was used by donor's husband in Albert Park until his death (circa 1972). He would sharpen his razor blades with the strop each night.
Physical Description
Hinged metal box for the "Valet/Auto Strop/Safety Razor" lined with purple material. Inside the box is: .2: a miniature leather shaving strop with "ALTSON/Safety No.5" printed beneath the metal hook by which it hangs. .3: silver razor blade container with the word "VALET" engraved on both sides .4: single "Valet Auto Strop Blade" still in its paper packaging.
