'Twistable, featherweight Hair Curlers' were advertised in Australian newspapers in July-September 1947. They were 3" long, six in a bundle, or 4 1/2" long, four in a bundle, each costing 6d (sixpence). This concurs with the information on the wrapper of these curlers: 'SUPPLIED IN TWO LENGTHS/3 INCHES AND 4 1/2 INCHES'.
