Summary
Diamond bar brooch in box. The brooch belonged to the donor's wife, Edna Lillian (1913-1983). It was made from the diamonds of the engagement ring of the donor's mother, Celia Hearse, who was married in 1911.
Physical Description
Diamond set bar brooch in hinged box. Brooch elongated with pointed ends, open work platinum and white gold set with 5 brilliant cut diamonds in a row, the largest in the centre. Pin clasp at back. Safety chain of fine links 5.5cms long with safety pin catch at end. Box is black with dark blue velvet and pale blue satin lining.
