Summary

Plastic pram harness made around the 1960s by Moulded Products (Australasia) Ltd. It was bought by the donor for her grandchildren, the oldest of whom was born around 1960. Mrs Aldred recalled that, when her own children were young, she used a leather pram harness.

Physical Description

Pram harness with white plastic straps fastened with metal buckles which fit over the infant's torso. Two other straps under the arms are attached to the pram (or highchair) to prevent the child climbing out. The pram harness has not been used and is still attached to original piece of cardboard with picture of a toddler in a pram and various small animals. There is also a price: '99 cents', written in ballpoint pen.
