Red crepe artificial flower made by Marion Kann. Marion (Mimi) was of born in Vienna, Austria in 1910. She immigrated to Australia in 1939, most likely fleeing the persecution of the Nazi regime as she was Jewish. In Australia she married follow a refugee and Austrian Jew Herbert Kann.

Physical Description

One flower made from fine red stiffened crepe. Constructed from five layers of petals, two leaf shapes tied together with wire and covered with black paper. Stem about 9 cm long.
