Brass plumb bob, circa 1910, used at a Victorian psychiatric hospital, probably for building construction. Apparently made by a patient. Used: Victoria, Australia, circa 1848 - 1950
Physical Description
Plumb bob which has a long piece of string weighed down by a brass solid squat umbrella-shaped bob. The string is wound around the section between the knob and the back of a dark wood polished door handle. The handle had been hollowed and threaded for attachment to a door.
