Made: Watt's Sheffield (U.K.), circa 1848 - 1950. Used in the laundrey of a Victorian psychiatric hospital.
Physical Description
Collar press consists of two pieces of wood, fastened together and screwed down with two metal clamps which apply pressure onto a wide metal strip which acts as a spring. There are rubber rests on the wooden base.
