William Johnson & Herman Simonsen ran their jewellery business together from 1895-1914. The business changed names to H. Simonsen Pty. Ltd. from 1914 and operated until 1927.
Physical Description
Double gold bar brooch set with a centrally placed rectangular cameo, carved from reddish-brown hardstone. The cameo depicts a white female bust in profile, facing right, against a contrasting reddish-brown background. Her hair is styled in a bun. Each end of the bars is accented with two decorative round gold finials placed in alternating positions.
