Attached is a goldstone fob, also made by Joseph Lawrence, Melbourne, circa 1910. Goldstone is a man-made decorative stone first manufactured in Venice in the seventeenth century.
The third attachment to the fob chain is an engraved gold sovereign case made by William Davis, Melbourne, circa 1920.
Physical Description
Fob chain with "T" bar and rectangular, pendant-like brown goldstone fob attached to a clasp with loop at one end. The top of the goldstone fob is set in a decorated gold mount. The round, gold, inscribed sovereign case is attached to the other end of the fob chain.

Inscribed: "Presented / to / P.A. DELAHENTY Esq / on his retiring from / THE VIC. RAILWAYS / BY THE STAFF / As a mark of esteem / 31-12-20".
