Summary
Made By: P.L. Drummond & Sons Pty Ltd, 1940 - 1960
Part of a collection of commercial hair-dressing equipment, mostly circa 1925-1940. The collection was acquired in the 1980s or early 1990s from a hairdressing academy in central Melbourne (likely the Melbourne Hairdressing Academy and/or the Melbourne College of Hairdressing, both mentioned in the records of this collection), where they were used as training aids by apprentices. Some items were purchased by the academy; others were donated by salons.
