Heel grips in box, Oxford brand, made by V.H. Stone & Co. P/L., 2-6 High Street, North Melbourne, Victoria.

The heel grips were held as stock at Sam Brown's bootmaker shop, at 86 Canterbury Road, Albert Park, Victoria 3206. They were donated to Museums Victoria in 1990.

Physical Description

Rectangular cardboard box designed for display. Printed in red yellow and black ink with extensive text throughout. Inside box are two paper envelopes printed with black and red ink with text on back and front and an illustration on a woman's shoe on back. Contained in each envelope are two suede peanut shaped heal grips with peel off adhesive backs and a small, square piece of sandpaper, tan in colour.
